S.F. Rendering Ltd. is, a CFIA approved, 30 year old company operating in two locations. Head office and the main multifacited plant is located in Port Williams Nova Scotia. A processing/freezing facility operates in St. George New Brunswick. The company is diversified and constantly evolving embracing renewable technologies. Historically SFR specialized in the manufacture of animal feed ingredients. Expansion into feeds for the mink/fur industry and petfoods helped to diversify the business. Products are shipped to clients throughout eastern Canada and exported to the USA. Currently SFR is manufacturing biodiesel B100 (WVO) feedstock and researching oilseed crushing to expand this division. Renewable fuels are also utilized in steam generation. |
