S.F. Rendering Ltd. has tailored its business to meet the changes and challenges faced by the retail food sector by collecting any returned, recalled, or expired material. We de-package a variety of material and prepare it for further processing either at our rendering plant, freezer plant, or dry mill plant.
What we sell…
Currently produced at S.F. Rendering Ltd.’s facility are the following products, used mainly as feedstuff ingredients in the regional farm service markets: Meat and Bone Meal, Tallow, Yellow Grease, and Custom Blended Animal Vegetable Fat. Ground and frozen feed ingredients are also produced at our facility and have been a staple, prominent, and growing component to S.F. Rendering Ltd. Our frozen ground meat trim is derived from the collection of waste meat in-edibles from both slaughterhouses and butchers, and in recent years, the collection of meat trim from retail food chains and cold storage warehouses.
Services we offer…
We will pick-up, or arrange for pick-up, any expired, returned, or recalled material for de-packaging and processing at our facility. Meat products we de-package and process at our facility include: bulk meats in combos, cartons, frozen blocks, plastic, Styrofoam and cello. We also handle dry, bakery goods, such as various flours, oats, cereals, breads, boxed or plastic contained cookie, crackers, pastas, etc. Dairy products in bulk or foils, plastics, containers large and small, jars, de-packaged at our facility include: butter, cheese, yoghurt, eggs, etc.
